Review of Lilac Garden - Twin Quilt and 1 Sham

I can't understand why there aren't better photos and a better description of this bedding set, b/c it's not only beautiful to look at, but also pleasing to the touch! The quilt panels are wonderfully soft velour, and all the butterflies and flowers are done in satin appliques or embroidery. The edging is done in royal-purple satin. There are traces of pink and light green, and even a bit of pale yellow, in some of the panel designs.

I wanted to coordinate with an Amish quilt I'd bought for my daughter, so I ordered a Lilac Garden throw pillow to see if it would work. I was so pleased that I immediately ordered the twin quilt and sham to go with it. I used pale pink sheets to warm up the look a little bit. I added a Lands End matelasse Euro sham with my daughter's initials embroidered in royal purple, and I couldn't be more pleased with the way it all looks.

It's always nice when a product exceeds your expectations, as this one did.
