These gates are amazing. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I don't have children, but I have an extremely rambunctious puppy who at only 13 pounds was able to jump/climb your standard child gate. They are extremely easy to assemble and install. My walls are cheap and uneven, but the tension on the gates firmly holds them in place. I leave them up all the time because they work so well, make my life easier, and are aesthetically pleasing. At first I was apprehensive about paying $100+ for baby gates when you can buy the standard ones at walmart for $25-$30, but I swear to you they are one of the best purchases I have ever made.
