I loved the concept of this and it's a big reason why I bought this car seat, but my baby is a very, very warm natured kid. This muff is great if you are going to be keeping your infant outside (which you most likely won't be) but to have in the car, even to have it unzipped and open in the front, it was still too warm against her back. I had to return it and just used layered blankets, which were easy to take on and off in the car to adjust to the temperature inside and outside in a flash.
