Review of Peanut Shell Microfleece Sling - Squirt

I have two Peanut Shell slings -- one regular cotton and one microfleece. They're beautifully made and seem like a great concept, although my son isn't a huge fan of them. He's big for his age (two months) and complains all the time he's in there, despite being properly adjusted.

One cautionary note about the microfleece sling -- the sizing. According to the Peanut Shell charts I need a Medium sling, and indeed in the *regular cotton* sling, the Medium is a perfect size for me. However, the microfleece sling stretches tremendously once the baby is in it, making the sling *too large*. Suddenly it hangs way down, so that my legs bump it when I walk! Not the intended effect!

So if you're ordering the Peanut Shell in microfleece, I'd suggest choosing one size SMALLER than your recommended size. Otherwise you'll end up, like me, with a sling you can't use...

Review of Maya Wrap Lightly Padded Baby Sling

After having my son, I realized that he would be happy as long as I was holding him.I had gotten an Infantino pack as a shower gift, but my 9 lb. baby made my back hurt very quickly because of the thin straps.I love this baby carrier because it's hands free (so I can get things done!) and my son is very content in it.Sometimes he is all interested in what I'm doing and just takes everything in, and sometimes he just zones out and sleeps.Either way, though, he's happy and my arm is not killing me from holding him for long periods of time.I love that I don't have to take the stroller in to stores and stuff.I alternate this with a Moby Wrap so I'm not just carrying him one-shouldered all the time, but this sling is very convenient (and quicker to get on and off)--I think this'll be my new baby-shower gift!I read Dr. Sears "The Baby Book" and it talks a lot about how good baby-wearing is, and for my son and me, it's been absolutely right.

Review of Tatutina Butterfly Bookends

I have two different sets of Tatutina bookends. They are the prettiest bookends I have ever seen, but they don't hold books up at all. They are always sliding, and I just imagine if it was holding books for an 8 year old compared to a one year old that it wouldn't even do much in holding them up.So I place them on the ends of the shelf, since they are gorgeous, and fill up the shelf in between with books.So its work isn't really as a bookend, rather, it is a decorative piece. A gorgeous one at that.

I bought my 2 year old daughter buckle bunny for her 2nd birthday.That was the best gift.She loves it plays with it all the time and even sleeps with it.Bunny goes every where with us which is great because she will sit in the shopping cart and buckle the bunny the whole time.I bought her the 3 bucle one and I am looking at getting her the 5 buckle one for our airplane ride this summer.

Review of Bugaboo Frog Parasol

we have a frog with ALL the accessories and love the stroller. but this product isn't a very useful accessory as it's not big enough to cover the child if you're moving around. it looks cute if you're stationary as it matches the stroller, but we keep this in storage.
