Review of Kidco Swivel Cabinet & Drawer Lock - 2 Packs (8 Locks)

I tried some cheaper versions from Kids Are Us that broke upon installation. These were the best made of all the ones I checked out. They are just about 3/4" too short for my new drawers. My drawers are 3/4" boxes with an additional 3/4" drawer front, typical of many ready made cabinets. Lock is too short to release it with my finger. If you don't have this type of drawer, however, these are the best made locks.

Review of Kidco Door Positioner

These are OK, they mostly hold the door in place, but can easily be pushed when on carpet or even hard wood such that they are not as useful for a toddler as I would have hoped.They come with two "feet" that attach and one of mine had only one foot.If I could do it again, I'd probably try another product.

We used this gate with extension for the top of our stair case (drywall on both sides) and it works great.It was easy to install and doesn't move at all since installation.My 30 lb. son has climbed on it, shook it and slammed it several times and the integrity of the gate is still exceptional.We open and close it at least 4 times a day and have had it for over a year.Highly recommend.

Review of KidCo BabySteps Healthy Snacks Feeder Kit

After several months of use and following instructions for care/cleaning, the mesh bag started to slip out of the handle while my baby was holding and chewing on it -- which allowed the food to come out of the bag -- which my baby could then have choked on -- which misses the whole point of using this thing in the first place. Also the rubber letters on the handle (that spell "BabySteps") started to peel off in little pieces! I don't want my baby eating that...

Review of KidCo Y Spindle (2 Pack)

I was a little skeptical about how this was going to work, but I have spindles on one side of my staircase and stained wooden molding on the other side, so I didn't want to drill any holes.The other kits were wooden pieces that went around the spindles, and didn't look very good in my opinion.Since my spindles are black iron, I got the black Kidco gate which is pressure mounted.These are very sturdy and the entire system was very easy to install.It also looks good!!! I would definitely recommend these over any other spindle kit.

My 15 month old son started to explore his surrounding. We installed the locks to prevent him getting into all the kitchen cabinets. The locks did stop him...for a while. But these type of locks are too simple. My son figured it out in 3 months. Not that big a deal for us since he can understand and follow our orders and advices a lot better than he was 3 months ago. Still, if you want the locks to be effective longer than 3 months, you might want to go for something more complicated.

not a fan of this gate at all. Make sure you have correct walls/banister for the gate though not sure what that means as it took a chunk out of our wall. Not well made. Installation kit is a wate of money (it's literally two peices of wood - don't buy).

Review of Kidco 4-Lock Set

Great to not have to screw into cabinets.A good yank can pull off the adhesive, but there would be warning for something like that (takes a lot of force).Having to get the magnet every time to open a cabinet is tough, but better than having to screw in tons of cabinet locks.And worth it for baby safety.

We actually purchased this item as a doggie gate with plans for kids someday in the future.We have an extra large opening to our kitchen and actually have to use a gate plus two of these extensions to cover the area.This extension can sometimes be a bit hard to find, but once you get it; it works great.We've had ours up for 3 months now with no issues.Would highly recommend.
